It is possible to communicate in a simple way if you speak slow and clear and if your partner is prepared to help.
In most cases you need an A1 passed exam certificate for a spouse or family reunion. For a language Visa to Germany an A1 certificate is also at least required.

The basic knowledge of level A2 includes understanding frequently used expressions related to the areas of everyday life.
In simple, routine situations, where it is mainly a matter of exchanging information or talking about familiar things, people can communicate.

According to the Skilled Workers Immigration Act, a certificate of having passed the B1 examination is a requirement for German Immigrants to be able to work here.
Some universities in the artistic field accept a B1 certificate as a requirement for admission as proof of language skills. This also applies for some English-speaking college courses in Germany.
In some professions you can already start an apprenticeship with a B1 certificate, although a B2 language level gives you a better chance of success.

German Lessons in Person
Face to Face with Students
Even though the maximum number of course participants per room is limited by external circumstances such as the Corona pandemic, many German courses can take place in person by providing the course participants with two rooms in which they split up.
Each room is equipped with a 360-degree camera that digitally connects the two rooms, creating a shared virtual space where the teacher is permanently present. In the process, the teacher changes classrooms several times during the course of the lesson so that each group has an equal opportunity to be face-to-face with the teacher.
Hybrid classes are also possible with the technology available at our language school. This means that one part of the group can study face to face with their teacher in the course room, while the other part of the group participates online from home. The groups alternate according to a set schedule.
